Software is used to connect different hardware components that is used to create a whole ATM machine . Without a program , an ATM machine would be rendered useless . In Malaysia , most of the ATM machine are equipped with Microsoft Windows based operating system , that will run a banking software on that platform. Operating system used ranging from Windows NT , 2000 and XP . As for the software , different banks uses different software that is developed to have the look and feel desired to represent one bank’s theme that includes logo and color styles.
